An Afternoon of Romantic Classics at Aston

The Boult Quartet from The Birmingham Conservatoire

We welcome the return by popular demand of The Boult Quartet and BCAF is delighted to be associated with Birmingham Conservatoire to provide the opportunity for their students and graduates to perform as part of our festival. The Boult Quartet has been playing together for over a year. They are Phil Handy cello, Cindy Wu & Catalin Chelaru violins and Philippa Lodge viola. The Boult Quartet is the Conservatoire’s Junior Fellowship Quartet and recent winners of the Sylvia Cleaver Chamber Music Competition 2009. They will be playing a  wide  repertoire including Haydn,  Mendelssohn, Shostakovich, Mozart, Beethoven, Elgar and Vivaldi.

Back for 2010! “For your Convenience” we are delighted to be able to provide outside loos at the church, this year.

In the beautiful setting of St. Peter’s Church, Aston Flamville
