Three hours of amazing music from Leicestershire’s 4+ 1 Jazz Band. They were formed in 2008 by Alan Sanders – reeds, when Michelle Croah -vocals, joined Terry Illingworth – piano, Steve Mellor – drums and Paul Arkle – bass. The original quartet were playing tunes from swing, the Dixieland and with the arrival of Michelle they took their inspiration from greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Claire Teal and Billy Holliday and the 4 + 1 Band were born. Soak up the atmosphere and prepare for a great night’s music.
