Adults - Fancy a "Crafty Sunday"? You've some to the right place! This is the sixth fantastic year that we have offered these workshops, and they grow ever more popular as word spreads. Once again, we're in the Millennium Hall with a mixture of old and new activities.
Refreshments (tea, coffee and Home-Made cakes) will be available throughout the afternoon.
We've aimed these workshops at adults, with two sessions (starting at 2PM and 4PM) of five different Arts and Crafts workshops, each lasting around 90 minutes. So, you've time to do two! Take home a mini-project. Materials supplied.
So, who better to tell you about the individual workshops than the artists, themselves?

BCAF welcomes back Chaz from Wayside Willow. He seeks to bring the ancient craft of Willow weaving to Twenty First Century learners, engaging them with historical skills and techniques, while cultivating creative thinking and problem solving.
Chaz says: "l believe we are all created to be creative - its a core part of our humanity. Some people never find that place inside them. I know from experience that willow can help free that creative spark in people who think of themselves as non-artistic."
Today, Chaz will be guiding you to make a Leaf Tray for you to take home. Add your own choice as to shape, size and weaving style. Suitable for beginners. All materials provided.
